Often misidentified genuine gold, pyrite is a common mineral known as “fool’s gold”. Its metallic luster and bright yellow hue can easily fraud the uninitiated eye. Pyrite has a cubic crystal structure and is often found in clusters within rocks, particularly those containing sedimentary or metamorphic formation. While not as valuable as gold
